A wonderfully striking pair of vintage industrial floor lamps, perfect for adding character and atmosphere to your space. Crafted from heavy cast metal, each lamp features a uniquely textured column with rippled and fluted detailing — to my eye, the surface has a reptile skin look, though you might see it differently! I would date then from the 1960s or 70s.
Currently the lamps have a time worn metal surface give these lamps a fantastic aged, industrial character aesthetic. The ribbed stems, bannister-style decorative elements, and solid sculptural bases all add to their bold, distinctive style.

Structurally, both lamps are sound, with surface wear and oxidisation, particularly around the bases, as you’d expect from genuine vintage pieces. The design process appears to have intentionally "pre-aged" them: some darker patches and slightly imperfect alignment between sections suggest they were made to look old, so now, with real age, they look even better!

The finish is a beautiful, complex mix of light brass and silver tones, with an authentically industrial feel. They are highly unusual and hard to describe —
