Pair of Vintage Brass and Iron Fire Dogs
A beautiful pair of age worn bras fire dogs.
Originally they were for a fire basket to rest on and if you want it for that purpose the iron length is 37 cm
These are also perfect, practical and decorative for resting fire irons on.
I have left as I found them as most people prefer the age worn on fireplace items as it means they do not need to be tediously cleaned!
There is surface rust to the iron but no erosion.
The brass is lacquered and there is pitting and other flaws to the finish, but again they are intact.
