Pair of Retro Vintage Metal Fishing Rod Stands Brent Hailsham Sussex.
You get all sorts of quirky things in our shop. Showing here are a couple of old vintage fishing rod stands. You may want to clean them up and display them or you may want to use them. So I have left them as I've found them and not bothered to clean them up.
The blue one has a motif that says Brent Hailsham Sussex. I would guess they were both made roughly during the 1960s or 70s. This one is fully intact except it is missing one of the rubber liners to the top peg. It is 103 cm long.
The other one has more rust to it although I still think it would clean up quite easily with some wire wool. The rod handle holder is adjustable, there is a single bolt which loosens so it can be adjusted up and down the shaft. Will need wd40! The rest part appears to be made of what remains of the chrome! It is 98 cm long.
