I am afraid I'm not too knowledgeable about materials. The coverings here are however definitely very fine quality with the dark patches being a thicker more velvet feel. Brocade with raised motif. They look to have been fairly recently reupholstered and the condition is good.
They are very much like armchairs with the top of the chairs or being of one construction and very solid at that. Difficult to describe the seats these appear to be an independent cushion and as such the material is slightly baggy.
I have wire woolled the original finish off the wooden bases so the teak is bare. You can leave it with the natural light bare finish which I think looks great, or as it is bare you can apply whatever your favoured finish would be whether it is a polish, oil or of course would also look great painted.
The bases are in good condition, there is evidence of repairs and you'll see in the images the tops of the stretches had not been stripped at that point but they have been now. On the top of one of the legs there is some filler.
These will be sent with the wooden base disconnected from the top. Very easy to reassemble that are simply 4 long screws which go through the front and rear stretcher to attach the top securely.
