The wiring etc is in very good condition and quality so they work well.
There is/was some blemishes to the lamps.
There were some marks to fluted parts on the protruding areas. I have wire wooled these down to remove most of the marks, so these areas are a little lighter. This lighter colour handily matches the light cream lampshades. I have also wire woolled around the gold trim, again so some of the whiter colour underneath show through.
The areas I have worked on have a slightly smoother and shinier feel and appearance to the areas I have not and add more of a contemporary distressed look.
These have a sort of plaster construction so able to carry this out.
The lampshades accompanied the lamps when I purchased them.
They are older I suspect. There is a ‘Vogue’ label. I would imagine they are 80’s or 90’s. The gold trim is a composite hard decoration. These are intact and in very good condition. There are a few surface marks you may be able to remove. They are good quality with an inner material lining. They sit on the lamps frame bayonet.
One lamp has three chips. I have put some gold artists paint into the chips to disguise a little.

Two of the chips are to the top and do not notice with the shade on and the single one to the base can be hidden by angling it so it is close to the wall.
They look great. A few minor flaws but the overall appearance is excellent. These lamps have not been professionally tested.
