This is a super original oil painting of a landscape - trying to place its location .... part of me is wondering if the mountain in the background is possibly volcanic (maybe not an active one, but a previously active one - it's shape?). Alas, I can't place it but perhaps you can? Mountainous landscape, dam/large pond in the foreground, forestry and shrubs, grassland. It creates a sense of space. The painting itself is well executed and very bold and bright. Really catches the eye and it needs to, as the frame is very special. A lovely example of a 1960s/70s retro frame. White wood outside frame, inside white wood vertical mount, lovely grey material mount between the two white wooden frame elements. Due to its age, the painting is showing signs of ageing - needs a clean up which many people would be happy to tackle. The frame also needs a bit of a clean up, but all in all, the frame and mount are in good shape commensurate with age. Please have a look at photos and video.
