A very lovely original oil painting from 1975 painted by Kenneth F Martin. Entitled Late September (painted in Petersfield, Manitoba Canada). 45cm x 40cm frame

Kenneth F. Martin was a Canadian artist who was born in 1914 and passed away in 2010. Many of his paintings have sold at auction - collectable. He specialised in landscape paintings of the Canadian countryside.

This particular one is a gorgeous autumn scene of a wetland with surrounding autumn coloured trees. It is a lovely scene bringing the autumn world to life.

The painting is in excellent condition, however as per many households, there are some paint flecks on the painting and frame from where someone has painted in the room whilst the painting was still hung up ?!?- easily removed. The frame is a super vintage frame with an actual painted wooden mount - there are signs of wear on the frame and mount, but it is a painting that is well executed, ready to hang and a great depiction. It has details of the artist and painting on the rear. Painted in 1975.
