Original mid century oil painting of The Pass of Lyon, Glen Lyon, Scotland - painted by H. Lyans - delightful Highland scene

AN original oil painting, likely from the 1950s 1960s. Painted by H Lyans and noted on the back that it is of Glen Lyon, and the Pass of Lyon in Scotland. It is a very highland scene - with gushing river and mountains in the background. The trees are well painted and have great texture to them. Everything is in proportion. You feel as though you are on a bridge over the river looking up the valley to the Pass. Really well done, and framed in a classic retro frame. The oil is thick in places and has therefore peeled in a couple of places, noticeably on the nearer mountain and on the right riverbank. Not sure these will be that noticeable though when the painting is displayed on a wall, but please have a look at the photos. It is bright and bold, ad vey Scottish. The frame is painted cream wood with a material mount edge to it, As were frames in the day. The material is stained in places and the wood marked, scratched. But the frame can definitely be cleaned up, or even replaced if you wanted - the painting backing has the original labelling from the artist. Lovely picture.
