Unfortunately not signed as it would be wonderful to know who the artist was. Bought at a local auction, we fell in love with it. Quite a daring interesting piece. Certainly a talking point - one question you could ask is, what is the painting titled? Perhaps "Icarus in the Meadow"? What does it evoke? Freedom, flight, fearlessness?
In good vintage condition - some marks and a couple of fine scratches, but it is overall in good condition. The canvas is not terribly taut so you may want to get it reframed or refitted. It seems to have come straight from a studio .... or art room ....
