The frame is in good condition it is made of pine which has a black finish which is worn in places but generally I'd say well preserved. Brass hinges.

Only the front pattern to the central panel on the right hand panel remain in what I describe as good condition, intact but with some blemishes. The decoration to the left hand panel has very much fallen by the wayside. However the decoration to the back of that remains fine.

I would personally just unscrew the left hand panel and use it for something else and just maintain this as a 2 fold screen. The dark oriental pattern looks fantastic and in the right place will look amazing. Each side section has a good side and both are good for the central section. You maybe able to reconfigure or use the discarded panel elsewhere in the house for decoration.

Decoration is made from a compact a starched calico type backing with a printed wall paper type decoration. To the rear, again the right and central panel are fine.
