Oh So Practical Thin Upcycled Mahogany Solid Victorian Bookcase Shelves

This is a very attractive and also very unusual Victorian bookcase.

Although all of the word is Victorian this is actually been made out of a Victorian piece of furniture which has obviously been hacked up at some point dispute case being one of the by products so it has an interesting history.

You can see to the middle that 2 units appear to have been joined together and to the sides there is some moulding to disguise this.

The best selling point of this bookcase is the fact it is so thin and let's face it pretty much every household will have a confined an area in which to place this and with all the shelving store or display many of your precious things.

I have no idea what it is has been made from, quite possibly a wardrobe, but whoever has carried out the work has done a good job. I like the fact that to the top there are two round marks which look like they were places where handles originally were so the top is maybe part of a drawer.

As you can see in the images it is basically in good condition. As with anything like this out there are the inevitable signs of wear but aesthetically this is in very good condition. There is a split to the lower backing which I have tried to show in the images.

The attractiveness and size means this could be the perfect thing for you.
