A mid-20th century wooden side table, originally part of a nest of two, now offered as a charming standalone piece. Crafted in hardwood, looks like oak, with a warm medium-brown finish, the rectangular top is supported by traditional turned legs, giving it a timeless look that blends both Edwardian revival styling and mid-century practicality. The top has been lightly sanded to be a lighter colour than the legs. It is in very good vintage condition.
This small occasional table was designed for versatility, once forming part of a compact nesting set for the living room. Its petite proportions now make it ideal for use as a lamp table, plant stand, or side table beside an armchair. The turned legs reflect traditional British craftsmanship, while the simple top highlights the natural wood grain.
Condition is very good vintage overall with some light surface wear and minor scuffs, stains consistent with age and everyday use. The piece remains sturdy and functional, carrying the patina of time that gives vintage furniture its authentic character. Please have a good look at photos using the zoom functionality.
A lovely little table that brings warmth and period charm to farmhouse, cottage, and traditional interiors. Practical as well as decorative, it captures the appeal of mid-century British home furnishings that were built to last.
