Mid Century Superb Quality Vintage Workbox. Sewing paraphernalia

Wonderful heavy wooden work box. Filled to the bring with sewing paraphernalia - many vintage items. Quite a heavy piece so definitely a quality box. Lovely carved detail around the base above the legs, as well as a really cute mid-century bakelite (tbc) knob. The inside has a pink buttoned pin cushion underside the lid, and the inner drawers have a lining. Great size for sewing and knitting bits. A great little unit to help you get organised. Unit is in great vintage condition.

The inside bits and bobs include scissors, tape, cottons, needles, pins and all the bits you would expect. Looks like this box was owned by a very avid sewing and knitting person. All items are used and vintage so please don't be surprised if the scissors are stiff, and the cotton opened etc. The items will be sent as is in the box, so will move around in delivery.

The box itself is in lovely condition albeit not perfect. There is a small bit of wood missing from the back right side. Not visible from the side or front. A few scratch and wear marks elsewhere. The inside also shows sign of age and use. This is a well used, very presentable, quality mid century workbox. Delightful and charming and a few tales to tell.
