Mid Century Quality Framed Print of Henri Fantin Latour (1836-1904) Yellow Flower Still Life, Chrysanthemums in a Vase

This is a wonderful example of mid century chromolithographic printing of a masterpiece, one of Henri Fantin Latour (1836-1904) paintings, Chrysanthemums. Fantin was a very well known painter of floral still lives and this is a print of one of those exquisite paintings. Likely printed and framed in mid 1900s, this vintage print and frame is in excellent condition. The colours are still vibrant and it can be readily hung.

There is not much to say about the quality of the subject - the painting is excellent and the attention to detail is still evident in a print. The quality of the print is very good, making it still very displayable well over 50 years later. The frame is a classic mid century gilt wooden frame with wooden board backing, a label, string/wire and glass.

There are minor signs of wear and age on this piece, but overall it is in really fantastic condition. Perfect a mid century decor room, something more classical and traditional, or a statement piece of art in a minimalist space. Options are endless.
