I really love this mid-century practical item for its simplicity and classic era style. Neat little box with a lid, covered in a very mid century coloured plastic cover. Delightfully vintage and so charming. Would look wonderful in a bathroom or bedroom. Perfect for storing all sorts of things, although original purpose would have been dirty washing.
Nice and neat, it has a good working lid, and still some original plastic lining which can of course be removed and replaced. It has cleaned up well and whilst it isn’t in perfect condition, it is in wonderful vintage condition and can certainly be displayed and used as is.
The colour is a lovely sea green blue, turquoise, most definitely altered over time and age, but actually has worn well and sameness almost all over. Besides the back and small area around the base, the plastic cover is actually in very good condition the photos show up colouring which actually isn't there.
Minor markings and stains in places. It has been cleaned up, but I would suggest if you gave it a bit of welly you could probably bring the brightness up even more.
A sturdy piece, not very heavy but still quite sound so won’t wobble etc when in situ. Please have a good look at photos and video to get more info.
