Lovely Vintage Brass Galleon Fire Screen Fire Spark Guard

Classic 50’s 60’s Vintage Brass Galleon Fire Screen Spark Guard.
A classic mid-20th century galleon fire guard. It is made of brass and stands well. The lacquer has worn away over the years so you have the bright gold finish where it is still intact and the browner finish where it has worn, probably from overzealous cleaning.
It is intact and robust.
This hasn't been cleaned for a while so you can leave as is with the age-worn finish or roll up your sleeves and give it a good clean with a bit of elbow grease, polish and wire wool.
This would return it to the intended gold finish. However as is it already looks fantastic and it i,s very much a case of current fashion dictating that most people don't clean their brass these days anyway, so you really don't need to do anything to it.
Whilst this stands well, the feet have lost their original screws and have they have been replaced. Although the screen stands perfectly well the feet do feel a tad loose.
