Late Victorian Vintage Metal Fender Fire Curb Fireplace Trivet
This is a very interesting Fender. It is made of metal and the top I think steel. I have not tried to restore this as I know some customers prefer them kept in the age worn condition that this is. So there is quite a lot of surface rust but it is not corroded.
The great feature of this vendor is the rear bar fire the slits to either side moves forward and backwards, presumably to accommodate pots, drying boots etc.
Please take a good look at the photographs to realise the absolute charm of this delightful late Victorian fender.
