Large WW1 Vintage Print ‘Home Sweet Home Gatland Bros East Grinstead Lady Crochet Knitting 79 x 59 cm
Out of interest the motif to the bottom of the backing reads Gatland Bros East Grinstead.
The picture is of a woman smiling and working some needlepoint as an army offices returns.
The print is imposed on card and both are in very good condition with a Home Sweet Home motif to the bottom.
The frame is glazed.
The frame is a dark green with muted gold highlights to the decoration.
The frame is made of wood with a moulded gesso covering and the original finish.
As you can see in the images there are some pieces of gesso missing and there is also a piece missing to the bottom right.
It is a delightful and evocative print with a very lovely and happy theme.
