Large Vintage Painted Shabby Chic Wall or Over Mantel Mirror Bespoke Upcycled. Farrow and Ball Light Blue Grey
This is a stunning hand painted upcycled wall mirror.
The mirror is probably 30-40 years old. It is made of solid moulded pine and is still incredibly sturdy. It is a well made unit of very good quality.
I have applied two undercoats and two top coats of a Farrow and Ball light blue or grey eggshell. I have then wire woolled the finish so some of the original finish comes through to leave a contemporary distressed look.
As with all hand painted items, do expect some blemishes and idiosyncrasies to the finish.
It looks incredibly impressive.
There are two mirror plates to the top or bottom, or sides depeding which way you wish to hang it!
It has a good quality bevelled glass mirror which is very well preserved.
These large mirrors are fantastic as wall mirrors or over mantels, apart from being great to look at the reflection and the size makes your room look spacier.
