A beautiful 50s or 60s vintage wall mirror. The frame is made of wood. This has been covered in a composite moulding. Lovely original painted cream finish with gold highlights.
Pretty ribbon decoration to the top.
The frame is very well preserved and in very good condition. There are a few splits going from the centre to the edge. This is nothing to worry about just something that has happened over the years and the decoration remains firmly in place. In fact I would venture to say they merely add some authenticity and character.
Original oval glass. There is some black spotting to the glass especially to the top half. To be honest I'm really not sure that the mirror was not made with the spotting already in place as part of the design to make it look old.
It has a boarded backing and a brass mirror plate for hanging.
This is a stunning mirror and as it has a soft sheen finish which looks very tough, this would be fantastic in a bathroom as it would be unaffected by steam.
All round great condition, there are a few surface marks to the paint.
