Large Vintage Ornate Painted Distressed Effect Wooden Mirror 1920’s
I had to look at the frame twice. It has one of those painted effect finishes that were very trendy in the 90s and everybody bought books on how to get a distressed effect before the Internet. But I have had a really good look and this is actually the original finish.
So a very unusual finish, there are a few signs of wear in places but you can see on the whole it is in good condition. Two circuits of darker ornate moulding.
The actual frame is made of pine with a moulded, probably plaster of some sort, covering and the original finish.
The bevelled glass is in excellent condition.
Boarded backing and chain.
