A superbly executed painting that needs reframing,
A large late-twentieth century original oil pastel painting depicting a country landscape with trees, fields and a lake, in a gilt wooden frame with a quality thick card mount. The frame is chipped and marked in several places, particularly along the right side, and the mount is marked as well with a tear along the right side. The board with the painting has come loose within the frame and likely needs readjusting, but is not at risk of falling out and the frame is sturdy other than where the paper sealing the board and frame together at the back has come away. Otherwise in good condition.
Frame is 75 x 60 cm, painting is 53 x 38 cm.
