Large Vintage Metal Fender. Art Deco Design. Age Worn
This is made of a pine carcass with a tin decoration wrapped around the pine.
It has had a layer of copper decoration applied. You can still see the copper, but as you can see in the images there is a thin surface rust covering most of the metal and copper effect finish. I hope you can see this.
If you wire woolled it down, it should come up with a shiny tin finish probably with a residue of the copper, but I cannot guarantee this to be the case, experience suggests so, but I am not totally au fait with metal finishing of the 1930’s!
It is intact with a tin layer to the back and base.
Distinctive art deco shapes. It looks fantastic with the age worn finish but also ripe for some restoration should you prefer.
