Vintage Mahogany Swing Dressing Table Mirror
A delightful early 20th century vintage mahogany swing mirror, mirror of which b mirror tilts upwards and downwards so you can admire yourself at your favourite angle!
This has bags of character and will look great on your dressing table or whatever surface in your bedroom.
As you can see in the images, this is of very fine quality and has a beautiful finish to it. A high level of construction and workmanship has gone into this mirror with a beautiful French polished finish.
It is all made of mahogany the curved fronts to the mirror frame are a mahogany veneer.
It is very solid.
It has a solid wooden mahogany back rather than the customary plywood. You can tell a good quality mirror from this.
The thick original glass is well preserved, there is some scarring to the centre of the right hand side which looks like it was caused by the long screw that is used as the tightening mechanism.
To either side of the mirror supports are small brass drop handles that are used to tighten the mirror in your favourite position.
