This beautifully crafted early 20th-century wall mirror exudes vintage charm with its distressed painted details and substantial size, making it a perfect centrepiece for any classic or eclectic space.
The frame is painted in soft, faded hues that highlight its antique appeal. Decorative flourishes around the edges add a touch of elegance, capturing the timeless aesthetic of the period.

It was made on the early 20th century and was originally part of a dressing table. To one side the original brass access movement is still in situ and on the other side this has been removed and there is a gap. You can fill this but I think it looks excellent as is because it shows the history of the piece.
Painted in white, the paint has faded and has picked up light grey hues. As you can see the paint has worn over the decades and it now retains a fantastic, distressed, bohemian and contemporary finish.
The detailing is superb and to the top is a floral motif, an absolute delight.
It is a very beautiful mirror and it is of very fine quality.
The glass is of very fine quality, it is thick with a wide bevel. There are some sporadic small black spots which are par for the course with old mirrors and actually just add to the vintage charm.
A sign of the quality is the fact that it has a solid but hopefully wooden backing that has been expertly screwed to the frame, which presumably is mahogany as well.
