Large vintage black and white pastel still life by Kay Parsons 1987, Studio Corner

An exceptional vintage pastel still life drawing by artist, Kay Parsons. It depicts a lovely relaxed scene of household furniture and items ... plants, bust, plant stand, desk ... a jumble and array beautifully captured in black and white pastel. A large artwork in a fantastic retro wooden frame, with double cream mount. The pastel is in excellent conditions and is signed by Kay Parson - as a vintage item, very very good. There is a lot of detail in the picture - books on the desk, something leaning against a wall, the window panes ... you'll see something new every time you look at it. The mount is possibly slightly discoloured from age, but still in great condition with minor signs of wear. The frame is lovely wood with a few nicks and knocks from wear and presumably being moved around; a little bit of oil or stain will bring it up trumps. The frame is ready to hang, but no glass. frame will need a wipe down from storage.
