This is an outstanding vintage oval mirror. This will date from the 1960s or the 1970s.
It is made of a wooden frame covered in a composite or gesso moulding with the original light cream finish with gold highlights showing still.
The cream has a beautiful crazed glazed aesthetic and the exterior and moulded decorative parts a muted gold appearance.
The frame remains very well preserved with just occasional surface marks that only really notice on close inspection.
There are a couple of tiny pieces of the moulding missing which have been touched up with gold acrylic so again, only really notice on close inspection.
The original glass is well preserved and it has a boarded backing and chain.
