Large Vintage 60’s Plaster Ornate Gold Gilt Decorative Wall Mirror.

This is a massively bold and imposing cracker of a mirror full of vintage charm.
Tese plaster mirrors were produced in the 60s and 70s. After that they were fazed out as they are quite delicate. They are a plaster casted frame, moulded around a metal wire skeleton. As such they were prone to get broken quite easily and the gold to chip. Please don't worry if this gets broken in transit you will receive a full no quibble refund commensurate with our shop policy.
This is an incredibly attractive mirror moulding lending itself to allowing some fantastic detail. I love the original gold finish which could maybe benefit with a little clean, but I like as is with an age worn look which would have been the original visual aesthetic when it was made.
Fantastic detail with floral decoration.
It is surprisingly well preserved with just a few areas where the gold has been disturbed and has been stained over.
The glass is very well preserved and in condition.
There is an eyelet to the back for hanging.
This is an incredibly impressive mirror and very well preserved.
