Large Vintage 50s Ornate Gold Oval Wall Mirror.
This is a beautiful top quality over war mirror.
It was made in the 1950s or 60s, the wooden carcass is pierced which enables the distinctive decoration.
The carcass is covered in a moulded composite decoration and the original gold finish. The frame is well preserved and in very good condition, although a small piece of the decoration has been lost to the right hand side and has been coloured in with black so it hardly notices.
It has a very good quality bevelled mirror. On the whole this is in very good condition, although there are some very light surface marks to it which I have to say only really notice on close inspection.
There are eyelets and string to the back for hanging from the wall. These of course can be reconfigured should you wish to hang the mirror the other way.
