Large Painted Mirror in Farrow and Ball Wimborne White Estate Eggshell Decorative 34.5 x 122.5 cm
The frame is very robust. Probably 1970’s.
It is made of wood with a moulded composite decoration. Originally it has a gilt finish.
Boarded backing and a hanging method in situ.
The glass is in fine condition, a few very minor surface marks.
I have painted the mirror in two coats of undercoat and three further coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White Estate Eggshell. I have gently sanded some of the edges to expose the dark gold surface underneath and to break up the white a little bit. As you can see in the images, this leaves a very good condition unique finish with a contemporary twist.
Very imposing and in very good condition.
