Large Oval Vintage Painted Wall Mirror Unique Bespoke in Farrow and Ball 'Blackened' ‘X-treem shabby chic!’

Probably early to mid 20th century.
A wooden frame with a damaged gesso moulding.
Very much an ‘X-treem shabby chic!’
Unfortunately, the gesso coating on the wooden frame was very much damaged. However, we have painted it which alleviates and partially disguises the obvious damage aesthetics but more importantly leaves a wonderful unique shabby chic finish. If you are into rustic and organic this is perfect for you.
You must take a very good look at the images and utilise the zoom in facility to see how damaged the frame is.
Th eframe is still sturdy though!
I have applied two primers and three coats of Farrow and Ball Blackened estete eggshell. They describe it as this-

'Our coolest white, with the slightest hint of grey, was historically made with the addition of lamp black pigment gathered from the smoke of burning oil lamps. Blackened sits perfectly with each of our Architectural Neutrals for a minimal look or stronger industrial feel. It’s particularly spectacular when used in Full Gloss within stainless steel kitchens, or when paired with All White for an uncompromisingly modern finish.'

I have wire woolled the paint so the features are bit more striking and it is good to see some of the original life of the frame.

The glass is original and bevelled. The condition for the age is very good, just some small occasional spotting marks.
Bags of authenticity and vinatge character but don;t buy it if you are of a neat and tidy in proper order person!

The backing has been recently applied by the looks of it. there are some splits to the ply where the screws have been added, somewhat irrelevant of course.
Two metal mirror plates for hanging that can obviously be moved if you want to hang the other way.
