Large Impressive Tapestry Fire Screen Mahogany Fantasy Animal Motif
Turn of the century fire spark guard. Mahogany frame that apart from some wear to the edges where the wood is lighter, is very well preserved. The frame has a very thick dark finish to it.
Wonderful old tapestry. There is no doubt that this has faded. However, it is fair to say the lighter colours fit more with today’s contemporary furnishings.
A cute dragon type motif to the centre.
The feet are sturdy, so it stands well.
These screens are fantastic as they hide the ugly and routine parts of a household fireplace.
