Stylish tapestry fire screen with a quality mahogany frame.
I doubt it is a feature you will require but the top pivots up to for a glass top coffee table. There are two pull out knobs that free the screen.
It is glazed.
This is of top quality construction in both the workmanship and materials.
It is very well preserved. Except for a small area of repair to the top right of the frame I would describe the screen as in very good condition.
Wonderful old tapestry depicting a parrot and a palm tree, so Victorian! There is no doubt that this has faded. However, it is fair to say the lighter colours fit more with today’s contemporary furnishings.
