This is an imposing, top quality wall mirror, originally part of a grand dressing table suite.
I debated whether to remove the original metal fixings on the sides and fill the holes but ultimately decided to leave them in place. They add a quirky touch and serve as a reminder of the mirror’s history.
The frame is of outstanding quality, crafted from beautiful mahogany to an exacting standard. It features a rich grain pattern and a superb finish. The original thick bevelled glass remains intact, with some mild spotting in places. While the reflection itself is clear, a closer look reveals some charming, random speckling typical of antique mirrors. I have tried to re[present this in the images.
A testament to its craftsmanship, the mirror even has a solid wooden backing. For convenience, I have added two modern brass mirror plates for secure wall attachment.

This will be delivered by hand by a proper furniture courier.
Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales only.

This will cost us between £60-80 so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
It will take about 2 weeks.
