Large Victorian Vintage Dressing Table Pine Swing Mirror.
An outstanding late Victorian dressing table mirror.
It is made of pine. I'm not sure if it is something that was stripped in the 80s and 90s as was the trend then, or whether it always had this finish. I have to say I would go with the latter.
Is in very good condition as you can see, certainly the surface of the base has had some work done to it at some point but it still looks great.
As you can see in the image of the back each brass axis peace has a screw to it which you tighten as and when you find the angle you are most comfortable with and if the screws are kept tight you can generally adjust and not need to tighten again. One of the screws is not original but old.
It has the original thick glass and to the top there is some black spotting that I have tried to show in a photograph. You can of course change the mirror however the reflection is still very good and this is perfectly fit for purpose and I will go as far as to suggest the spotting really at some character and authenticity.
This will make a real feature of your bedroom, it is a stunning piece of Victorian furnishing it looks amazing.
