Large Bespoke Painted Oval Shabby Chic Wall Mirror in Farrow and Ball with Gold Decoration.
This is a beautiful and unique hand painted shabby chic 1970s oval mirror.
It is made of a quality plaster that has been moulded around a wire frame.
It has a lovely ornate design to it. Originally the colour was gold and we have applied two coats of primer and three top coats of a Farrow and Ball eggshell cream.
We have wire woolled the finish so some of the gold from underneath comes through to leave a lovely contemporary finish.
You can also see some plain white underneath where the gold has been rubbed as well, come out. This is the plaster.
It has the original 70s glass. There is some black spotting to the bottom half which I think is not a deterioration of the glass but actually deliberate and designed to make the glass look old.
Overall, I would consider this to be in very good condition. There is an eyelet to the back for hanging.
