Kitsch Vintage 60s or 70s Retro Marble and Brass Standard Lamp Working.
An outstanding 1960s or 70s marble and brass standard lamp. I am not sure how you differentiate between marble and onyx but I'm fairly certain it is marble but don't quote me on that. Either way the marble or onyx decoration is beautiful and of course in the 60s and 70s was considered to be a top notch piece of living room decoration.
It is working and the bayonet, plug and wire all appear to be fine but obviously feel welcome to get it checked by an electrician. PAT tested 2020.
Simple moulded decoration to the four brass cylinders in between the stone and a teardrop decoration to the edge of the bottom circular plate.
Condition wise, it is in very good condition however there are some minor chips to the edge which I can assure you is a regular occurrence with onyx or marble lamps for obvious reasons. I have tried to highlight these in the images so please be aware.
This is a superb piece of retro functional and decorative lighting.
