Kewdos Retro Quality Indoor Planter, pottery plant pot, jardiniere - hand painted forest and flowers on it, from West Sussex

This is a very striking and attractive hand made pottery indoor planter, plant pot. Made by one of the wonderful potters and artists at Kewdos. Kewdos was a pottery business in West Sussex but was dissolved in early 2000s. It produced remarkable quality plant pots in pottery and with exquisite hand decoration, like this one. This pot is so bright and bold with its intricate hand painted design of a forest and flower carpets. In wonderful condition and perfect for plants.

The detail is quite remarkable in the hand painted design - pretty little flowers scattered along the base, talle legant evergreen trees soaring to the top of the pot. A fully enveloped design.

In great condition. The pottery pot is in outstanding condition with no chips or cracks. The gilt has worn in one or two places, but actually event the forest design is in very good condition. Wonderful planter.

A good size - big enough for a medium indoor houseplant. Striking for display anywhere in the house or office.

Now that Kewdos doesn't exist, this item is very collectible and is to be cherished.
