Impressive Brass Wooden Base Tall Bedside Table Desk Lamp Working.
I reckon by the wire this is mid 20th century.
It will need rewiring. The wire is antiquated and probably not safe or sensible to reuse.
I have left the finish as I found it. It is both fashionable these days to maintain the current age-worn finish as well as the traditional gleaming shiny gold finish as was intended. Depends on what suits your home. So, I am leaving you with the option of cleaning it up yourself.
The base is wooden and the rest is solid brass.
It is sturdy and stands well.
There is a crack to the brass on the thin length adjacent to the bayonets. I am not sure if this will show in the images as I only noticed it when writing these descriptions.
