Imposing Genuine Vintage Retro 60s Wall Bracket Shelf Highly Decorative Painted White in Farrow and Ball.

When I bought this it was painted in pink and some of her decoration had been lost which exposed the sandy colour of the wood underneath. I couldn't match the pink so I have simply applied three coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White estate eggshell which has a soft sheen.

The upshot is that it probably needed another couple of coats to give it a full covering and to disguise the pink so there are hues of pink evident. I don't want to go to town too much with painting it in case the customer who buys it wants to paint in their own colour, so it is what it is a beautiful wall shelf quite well painted!

As I said there are some areas of decoration missing although all seems intact on the actual bracket part, so please make sure you take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility to check the condition.

The bracket is held to the top by a bolt and this will be sent on unattached so you will need to re bolt it. Hopefully you can see to the bottom of the bracket there is a hole so when you attach the top shelf with the two plates to either side, the shelf will sag a little bit which is what it is supposed to do. When you push the bracket up to make the shelf straight, you screw the bottom of the bracket to the wall which will keep it totally robust, straight and functional.

Delightful piece and would look fantastic anywhere in the house.
