Huge Vintage Retro 70s Painted Cheval Mirror with Drawer Gold Highlights Nearly 6 ft.
This mirror is of such a size that you will be able to see your entire body reflection in the mirror. Although I'm only 5 foot 7 when I stand 5 foot away from it I am fully reflected and there is plenty of room below my feet and above my head in the reflection!
This type and shape of cheval mirror was prevalent during the 1970s.
However, although there are lots around still, it will be very hard pushed to find one of such a large size.
The mirror tilts forward and backwards and there is a clean working drawer which only has a very tiny mark inside.
It is made of a mixture of wood and very thick board. It has a very tough cream finished painted surface and various patches of moulding which has very dark highlights. Delightful decoration to the sides of the mirror supports.
Although there are a few very minor surface marks to the finish, on the whole I would consider the condition to be very good.
The mirror is of excellent quality and condition.
This really is a lovely piece and that sort of design that is going to fit into any house with any corresponding type of decor, modern, retro or vintage.
