If you are looking for a mirror of this size you would have seen quite a lot similar to this online. Most of the mirrors you have been looking at, the frames are actually just made of a moulded composite compound and are of poor quality.
This one is made of solid wood with the moulded decoration imposed on top of the frame.
Lovely distinctive detail to the actual decoration, the finish a nice muted gold so not too flashy with darker highlights throughout.
This has a genuine quality bevelled glass, again many of the other mirrors you will be looking at will be cheap import and the quality of the glass on these is very poor.
On the whole the condition is very good. One of the edges has been touched up a little bit in black and there is one tiny drop to the aperture that is missing, again this is being blacked in so hardly notices. So please make sure you take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility.
It has a boarded backing islets and string. There are 4 islets and some long string that is tiding about so you can undo it should you wish to hang the mirror the other way
