This is a stunning hand painted upcycled wall mirror.
The mirror is probably 30-40 years old. It is made of solid moulded pine and is still incredibly sturdy. It is a well made unit of very good quality.
I have applied two undercoats and two top coats of a Farrow and Ball light blue eggshell. I have then wire woolled the finish so some of the original finish comes through to leave a contemporary distressed look.
As with all hand painted items, do expect some blemishes and idiosyncrasies to the finish.
It looks incredibly impressive.
There are two mirror plates which can be reconfigured should you wish to display the other way.
It has a good quality bevelled glass mirror which is very well preserved.
These large mirrors are fantastic as wall mirrors or over mantels, apart from being great to look at the reflection and the size makes your room look spacier.
