Huge Vintage Painted Shabby Chic Wall or Over Mantel Mirror Bespoke Upcycled. Farrow and Ball Wimborne White
This is a stunning hand painted upcycled wall mirror.
The mirror is probably 30-40 years old. It is made of a carved solid moulded pine and is still incredibly sturdy. It is a well made unit of very good quality.
I have applied two undercoats and two top coats of a Farrow and Ball Wimborne White, a just off white very light cream. I have then wire woolled the finish so some of the original finish comes through to leave a contemporary distressed look.
As with all hand painted items, do expect some blemishes and idiosyncrasies to the finish.
It looks incredibly impressive.
There is a single eyelet for attaching to the wall.
It has a good quality glass mirror which is very well preserved.
These large mirrors are fantastic as wall mirrors or over mantels, apart from being great to look at the reflection and the size makes your room look spacier.
