An imposing top quality late Victorian over mantel mirror.
The frame is pine with mahogany fronts.
Features some superb carvings.
It is well preserved, in particular the bevelled glass remains in very good condition throughout. There are eight different mirrors, all are secure.
There is a small piece of wood missing from the top of the top right curved decoration. Another small piece is missing from the very bottom right corner that goes from the front to the wall and hardly notices at all.
To the very bottom towards the right-hand side there is a slim sliver of wood missing, about 9 inches long.
These faults, again, hardly notice unless you are inspecting for faults.

Finials still is situ, very unusual.
The finish remains in very good condition. There are some surface marks to the shelf surfaces.
