Huge Pair of White Ceramic Oriental Indian Tree Style Table Lamps Bird and Flowers. Working.
A magnificent set of working ceramic table lamps.
I would date them from the 1980s. They both come with lampshade supports.
Wooden bases.
Very much an Indian tree style declaration with a two classic bands just below the 'lid’ and another below the decoration.
Beautiful floral decoration accompanied by some birds.
This is in good working order and with the wiring etc all looks fine, you might of course want to get it upgraded. They both have very long flexes.
The condition is very good with just a single chip to the underside of one of the corners of the ‘lid’.
It has a basic flaw to them but one that is relatively easily remedied. They are perfectly fit for purpose and use however to the underside there is a plastic bolt to one which cannot be tightened as it is split and the other lamp is missing one. All you need to do is replace those and it will tighten up absolutely just fine. Perfectly fine to use but if you pick them up from the top the bayonet and attachment lift a tad.
