Huge Ornate Painted Victorian Over Mantel Mantle Mirror.
You will be hard pushed to find a more beautifully painted over mantel mirror anywhere. I'm sending this as I found it as the paint finish is already in very good condition. This has been very well painted, obviously by hand as there are a few signs of blemishes to the finish. I cannot therefore vouch for the brand of paint used suffice to say it is white and has a nice soft sheen finish.
The actual mirror is Victorian and would almost certainly have been above a fireplace. However, such are the dimensions and the look of it is so fantastic it would amazing anywhere in particularly in a hallway for instance.
It is incredibly ornate add something you'll never get bored of looking at!
Please take your time to take a good look at all the images and video to appreciate the quality and detail of the decoration.
The glass is in very good condition. A wooden panel back although there are a couple of thin sheets missing, however obviously once on the wall you will not know this.
Currently there is a chain to the back so it can just be hung off maybe a couple of screws or of course you could attach using your own a method.
There is a small gap to the wood on the top however, once this is hung this will not be seen either.
I would consider the condition of this mirror to be very good.
