This is a wonderful and very imposing late Victorian wall mirror.

The frame is made of thick wood with a gesso moulded decoration. To the decoration the original gold finish is still showing.

The interior mounted highlights are still intact. which is a nice feature.

The frame on the whole is very well preserved, there are some signs of wear that you would expect, but I would consider it to be very good. The signs of wear merely actually character and authenticity and are to be expected on something old.

For the age the original bevelled glass is in very good condition with just a few minor marked that only really notice on close inspection.

It has a boarded backing and would take his original brass chain.
