Gregory's Ltd Table Lamp in Black Green and Gold - large and very stylish, Grecianesque - 36cm tall - working order

A lovely example of a Gregory's vintage table lamp. This one is black ceramic with green and gold grape vine relief. Very stylish and reminescent of something Grecian. The green is very bold, and the gold is sparkly in places like glitter. It sits on a matt gold and silver painted base, and has a good length gold cable. It really is very attractive and would look stunning with a gold, green, black or silver shade - a large shade would be fine too. The black background is almost marble imitation blending well with the green. THere are some chips to the black glaze mostly on the top rim, one or two have been covered in marker pen to make them less noticeable. I actually don't think they are noticeable especially if you position the lamp in such a way as to hide the marks. The bulk of the lamp body and base are in vgc condition. I don't know too much about Gregory's Ltd lamps, but they seem to still exist and this vintage one is a great example of a lamp that was probably quite expensive in its day. It is being sold in working order but has not been professionally tested.
