Genuine Vintage Victorian Wall Mirror Hand Painted Farrow and Ball Cream Gold Highlights
A Victorian wall mirror. Originally a top to a sideboard.
Lovely shape with distinctive finials and fluted channels.
Original thick glass, some deterioration to the silver behind the glass to the bottom right hand side you should be able to see in the images.
Pine backing and newer mirror plates have been added.
Two primer coats have been applied, followed by three coats of Farrow and Ball ‘White Tie’ estate eggshell. I have highlighted some areas with a gild artists paint and rubbed down a bit to mute the shine.
Farrow and Ball say-
